We strive to serve you with the best care possible, displaying our caring nature. We build a growing relationship with you so you can feel as comfortable as possible when you come in for your procedure. You can trust us to always put your needs first throughout the entire process. Overall, our mission is to support you.

Your First Appointment At Sacramento Surgical Arts

Our goal is to make your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible, from start to finish. We understand that visiting a new cosmetic and oral surgery practice in California can be overwhelming, which is why we offer you as much information as you will need.

Before you come in for your first visit, our scheduler will request information from you in order to inform the doctor of your needs and expectations, such as the reason for your consultation and information regarding your health. We will obtain other information, such as your demographic and insurance information. When you come into our office on your scheduled appointment day, you should bring any x-rays you have and a referral, if you have one. If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Scheduling Your Cosmetic Or Oral Surgery

At the time of your initial consultation, one of our surgeons will perform an exam, review your health history with you and provide you with treatment options. If you decide to go forward with a surgical procedure, one of our surgical assistants will schedule your surgery appointment and review pre-operative and post-operative instructions, so you will know what to expect.

The surgeon will go over the following topics with you during the visit:
  • The indications of surgery
  • The contraindications of surgery
  • Any possible alternative treatment options
  • Pros and cons of the surgery
  • Risks of the surgery

Following your initial consultation, you will meet with our financial coordinator to discuss your treatment plan, insurance benefits, and our financing options.

If you have questions or concerns about your first visit, please do not hesitate to call and speak with one of our team members to learn more.
